In this week’s #MakeOverMonday Challenge, we focus on the clearing of Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) in the United Kingdom. Clearing is a service under UCAS Undergraduate application that allows students to apply for courses that have vacancies.
The number of placed applicants has been increasing YoY since 2012, barring a drop between 2017 and 2019. There was a dip in the total number of applicants in 2017 and 2018 as well, but the number, since 2019, has been on the up, despite the global pandemic a.k.a COVID-19.
Hover over the graphs to take a look at the number of applicants who have been placed and the number of applicants who are free to be placed and hold an offer in hand.
PS: I didn’t cover the last week’s challenge, as I was busy preparing the DataViz of Bruno Fernandes’s incredible performance. You can check that post by clicking here.
