The 2023 Asian Games are around the corner. Come Saturday, 23rd September, the extravaganza will unfold. India has participated in EVERY Asian Games competition and has been one of the most successful sides in the competition.
In the last two Asian Games competitions, in 2014 and 2018, India finished 8th. There was an increase in the number of Gold Medals in the 2018 edition, with India getting 16 Gold Medals, five more than in 2014. India has amassed 79 Gold Medals in Athletics, its most in a sport. Haryana contributed with 22 Medals, including 9 Gold Medals.
