Internet, across the world, is one of the most important commodities in the world. How many times have we been disappointed over poor internet speeds – be it download or upload?
This week’s #MakeOverMonday data focuses on the internet speeds across the European continent from 2019 to 2022. The stats mentioned below comprises of data for the year 2022. Iceland ranks first in *both* download and upload speed.
What is Latency? It is measured in milliseconds (ms), so if your ping is “100ms” then it takes 100 milliseconds for your device to respond to a request from the hosting server. Lower latency, also known as ping, is desirable to achieve that smoother gameplay and user experience we all want, without an lag (Source: optimum.com)
